Question and answer

What is the difference between domain pointers and DNS Parking?

Domain pointers are additional websites in your account. In other words: you can host more than one domain with your hosting account. These can be in the form of a new domain name (http://www.yourdomain.be) or be 3rd level domains such as http://support.yourdomain.be. Domain pointers have their own root with a completely different content than your main account.

The domain pointers use the same means as your main account (e.g. disk space, user names and bandwidth)

The Elite Pro account comes with 2 domain pointers without extra costs. For other Elite hosting formulas this is an additional service.

DNS Parking are websites that are linked to your main account. In other words, www.yourdomain1.be has exactly the same content as www.yourdomain.be.
